Live Dead & Brothers - Grateful Dead and Allman Brothers Tribute Miami Concert reviews
The Black Keys muddy mix
I thought the mix was awful for this show, partly because of DAR acoustics. First off, I had good seats, orchestra, so I had a clear speaker path. The sound man was definitely screwing up big time, but could be. These guys are such good musicians, why did they have to blast the sound so loud particularly during mellow songs? Don't get me wrong, I like decibels, but the sound was over modulated, muddy, and poor mix. Several songs the guitar was banged up so high it overpowered everything, and rang. Live Dead & Brothers should evaluate their tapes and hire a new sound company.
